IDRAHAJE Youth Camp of Michigan
I'd Rather Have Jesus
A non-denominational organization
Hi, my name is Al Stark.
I have a very important request for you.
I am extremely concerned about the moral, social, and spiritual slide of our young people in the United States away from Godly and wholesome living.
If you believe America was founded on God, Family, the 1st and 2nd Amendment and Courage, then please read the following information and let us together restore these values to America!
It all started years ago with an idea to have a youth and family camp promoting God, family, America, courage and the freedoms given to us by God and our founding fathers in the United States Constitution and The Bill of Rights.
For 16 years, I ran a youth camp for young people called Idrahaje Youth Camp in Michigan.
As our country was formed upon, I have a dream to restart that camp on a grander scale with the desire to return young people to God, Family, Freedom, and Courage.
The resources to do this dream would truly take a miracle.
We are excited about going forth with this undertaking to help America return to our Founding Father’s ideals.
We are looking for a nice tract of land to build the camp here in Michigan. Our current need is a minimun of 160 acres to building the youth camp. We are looking at land to determine if it is well suited to for building and accommodating the activities we plan for the camp.
We would like to purchase land as soon as possible.
We believe God – the God of the Bible, and the Word of God. The First Commandment states, “Thou shall have no other gods before me.” Our goal is to have the Bible as the Lamp unto our feet and the guide for our life and ministry.
We also believe that this is our right as American citizens under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, which states “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof . . . “
We believe in the family as God designed it. The family is the standard for strength, the “fabric” that our country is built on.
We believe in the courage of Americans to stand against all evil in the world.
We believe in the second amendment of freedom to bare arms and the proper use of arms: “. . . being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bare arms, shall not be infringed.”
We do want to set your mind at ease. We are offering a well-balanced program for youth and the family. We are non-denominational. We are not interdenominational nor are we affiliated with any one denomination. Our supporters come from many denominations: Lutheran, Baptist, Catholic, Episcopalian, and many others.
Many of our services and camp segments will be available for rent to individuals and organizations whenever the camp would not have other events scheduled.
Pray to God for that miracle.
We would like to send you a packet of information that will explain in more detail the dreams and goals we have in mind. If interested, please send an appropriate address where the information packet can be sent.
Thank you and God bless you.
